May 14th, 2024– Hansen Technologies (ASX:HSN), a leading global provider of software and services to the communications, energy, and water industries, is proud to announce its participation as a Gold sponsor at the upcoming edition of Digital Transformation World – DTW24-Ignite. Taking place in Copenhagen between June 18th and 20th, the annual forum unites key decision-makers and thought leaders in the communications industry.
Over the course of the three-day event, Hansen experts will demonstrate innovative cloud-native applications under the Hansen Suite for Communications, Technology & Media that enable service providers to grow new business models through accelerated product innovation. Specifically, the team will demonstrate solutions for monetising 5G, creating new revenue streams via digital marketplaces, transforming to cloud-native architectures, and enabling agile offer lifecycle management via AI-infused technologies.
This year will also feature Brian Cappellani, Global Vice-President for Technology Strategy at Hansen, who will participate in two panel sessions entitled, Navigating the Challenges of Cloud Migration and App Modernisation, as well as Platforms and Partners – How Can We Seek New Value Through Platforms and Marketplaces? Joined by other industry executives, these sessions will discuss the complexities and opportunities surrounding cloud migration and application modernisation within a CSP’s (Communications Services Provider) business support infrastructure, along with how service providers today can extend beyond their core offerings and bridge into partner-driven industry solutions enabled through digital marketplaces. The panels will aim to provide real-world actionable insights on these key pressing topics in the industry, as well as what to expect in terms of benefits.
As the industry turns a rapid eye towards the world of Artificial Intelligence, Hansen will be partnering with Amazon Web Services (AWS), NTT Data, AwareX, and Prodapt along with champions Telefonica, Verizon, Viasat and Aussie Broadband for TM Forum’s Catalyst program, the organisation’s proprietary proof-of-concept showcase, comprising innovative projects developed and co-created collaboratively by TM Forum members to address important industry challenges. The Catalyst, led by Hansen, is centered on AI-driven offer lifecycle management, using AI to assemble personalised offers and pricing based on a customer’s specific needs and other existing data, as well as identify top-performing offers, delivering recommendations to CSP teams to rationalise their offer catalogue. It has been modelled around offers based on a combination of Mobile, broadband internet, TV services, and home security. With this Catalyst, the Hansen team will showcase firsthand how CSPs can become agile, innovative, AI-driven digital service providers, capable of creating tailored, data-driven offers for each customer, and accelerating open, AI-powered innovation.
Glenn Gibson, Chief Marketing Officer at Hansen, commented: “CSPs today need a pathway to lead them toward a future where they can easily monetise key connectivity capabilities, including AI and 5G. Now more than ever, CSPs must become commercially agile to monetise 5G and sell beyond the connection. With its leadership role in the communications sector, TM Forum sits at the heart of the wave of technological change that we are currently witnessing. We are excited to partner once again with TM Forum at Digital Transformation World 2024, the seminal event of its kind. With the industry charting a new path forward, we look forward to connecting with our customers, partners and peers from across the world, at the communications industry’s premier forum for innovation, knowledge exchange and networking.”
