June 3rd, 2021 – Hansen Technologies is pleased to announce the appointment of John McKeown as Vice President of Sales and Partner Management for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
With over twenty years of experience in the utilities and energy industries, John brings a background of driving commercial growth for software businesses encompassing Asset and Work Management, Mobile Working, Industry Process Management and Energy Trading solutions. He also has experience working with Distribution Systems Operators (DSOs), Retail and Power Trading organizations.
Prior to joining Hansen, John worked at Origami Energy, which provides trading and automation software for managing renewable energy assets. He has also previously worked at AMT Sybex, which provides a variety of solutions to utilities across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
In his new role as Vice President of Sales and Partner Management for the EMEA region, John will be responsible for ensuring that Hansen maintains its robust growth and strengthens key partner alliances in the region. A key component of this will be growing the utilities and energy business by developing the sales strategy for the Hansen Create-Deliver-Engage Suite, building the sales team and winning new customers.
