Hansen Technologies Offers Mobility to 10 Million Customers with Partner Smart Utility Systems

September 30, 2015 – Hansen Technologies Limited (ASX: HSN) today announced a partnership that will deliver new mobile customer engagement and workforce platforms to more than 50 utilities representing more than 10 million customers.

Publicly launched at the Hansen Banner CIC Customer Conference in Atlanta, Ga., Banner Customer Mobile and Banner Workforce Mobile will deliver customer engagement and workforce mobility benefits to municipalities and the utility sector in an easy-to-use mobile app.
“For the first time ever, Hansen’s utility clients are able to deliver the benefits of mobile, two-way communication to their customers and employees for real-time data exchanges and workflow efficiency,” said Andrew Hansen, CEO of Hansen Technologies.

Derived from SUS’s Smart Customer Mobile (SCM) solution—a leading customer engagement platform built to meet the unique needs of the utility industry—the new mobile technology from SUS seamlessly integrates into current Banner CIS and back-end system infrastructure. Tapping into SUS’s forward-thinking SCM APIs, the result is a revolutionary customer experience with efficient data exchanges resulting in lowered operational costs for utilities and improved customer satisfaction.

“We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with Hansen Technologies and provide mobility and deep-dive analytics to their customers,” said Deepak Garg, CEO of SUS. Hansen Technologies and SUS will continue to introduce new technology to clients in the utility sector and grow the partnership in coming years.
