New York, NY USA – Hansen Technologies is pleased to announce the successful go-live of BannerCX with the City of Columbus Department of Public Utilities.
The City of Columbus is a municipal utility which provides water, sewer, and electric service to approximately 1.2 million people in the greater Columbus, Ohio area, including Ohio State University. The City of Columbus serves over 300,000 water meters and 15,000 electric meters.
Since going live on Hansen’s BannerCX, the City of Columbus has reported outstanding satisfaction with the implementation of the latest version.
“BannerCX has enabled the Department of Public Utilities to provide an improved level of customer service for our account holders,” said Cyndi Estep, Utilities Services at City of Columbus. “The upgrade process was seamless, and it is now easier than ever for representatives in the call center to quickly access account information in a simple to read format.”
“With BannerCX, we have delivered on our commitment to enhancing the functionality and performance of this long-standing, market proven platform” said John Baksa, Hansen Technologies President, Americas.
Hansen acquired Banner in 2014 and has invested over four years of significant research and development to enhance the functionality, technical stack and security features. Hansen’s BannerCX key features include an adaptive and dynamic user interface; customizable workflows and wizards; integrated self-service Business Intelligence reporting; and an expanded API library to enable connectivity to applications such as customer mobile workforce, mobile dispatch appointment booking and customer web payments.
“Hansen’s BannerCX is a major milestone in our on-going investment to anticipate and deliver on the next generation of utility billing”, said Andrew Hansen, CEO Hansen Technologies. “It provides the functionality and performance that utilities need to meet the evolving demands of their customers and business with the tools to expand and grow. We are excited with the positive response that BannerCX has received in the market, with several customer upgrade projects already commenced.”
