Toronto, Canada – June 6, 2020 – Hansen Technologies today announced the general availability of Hansen Provision Release 7.0, the next generation of its globally-deployed service activation application. With this release, Hansen Provision adopts a new, cloud-native architecture to scale fulfilment operations and processes for services enabled by 5G and virtualised network services.
Hansen Provision Release 7.0 provides communications service providers (CSPs) with a massively scalable, cloud-native solution that drastically reduces provisioning errors across legacy and next-generation networks, and allows CSPs to capitalise on new revenue opportunities. Based on an advanced microservices architecture, this release provides new capabilities to accelerate the design and roll-out of activation elements that support new or amended service offerings, reducing time-to-revenue.
Guy Tennant, Chief Technology Officer, Hansen Technologies, commented: “A cloud-native offering delivers the scalability and cost-savings CSPs need. According to our latest Create-Sell-Deliver Outlook report, 86 per cent of CSPs believe that the way services are initially delivered has a significant impact on customer satisfaction. Inadequate provisioning platforms stand in the way of exceptional customer service, and can impede service providers as they look to bring new products and digital services to market. We constantly innovate and with this thinking in mind, have made our tried and tested provisioning platform cloud-native – with a view to enabling our valued customers to grow their businesses in a complex, digital era.”
Hansen Provision is currently deployed in the fulfilment operations of more than 40 CSPs around the globe. Hansen Provision Release 7.0 is pre-integrated with Hansen Catalog, Hansen OM (Order Management) and Hansen Portfolio to provide CSPs with a seamless fulfilment solution from order to activation.
