November 11th, 2020 – Hansen Technologies is pleased to announce that the City of Regina, the capital city of the Canadian province of Saskatchewan, has now gone live with the company’s latest release of Hansen CIS. The city has been a long-standing customer of Hansen since 1993.
Hansen CIS is an energy customer information software suite for utilities providers that are undergoing a transformation to become tomorrow’s next digitally-driven experience companies. Combining best-practice business processes and modern technology, Hansen CIS provides an intuitive and efficient user interface. It drives operational efficiency through automated processes, thus minimizing the cost of operations.
Deborah Bryden, Director, Assessment, Tax & Utility Billing, City Of Regina, commented: “For more than 25 years, Hansen has been a valuable partner in our efforts to provide best-in-class services to the residents of Regina. The Hansen team’s support for our latest upgrade project on Hansen CIS was excellent. Their professionalism and continuous diligence ensured we had a successful deployment.”
John May, CEO, Americas, Hansen Technologies, commented: “We continue to be excited by the positive reception that Hansen CIS is receiving in the marketplace. Our longstanding partnership with the City of Regina is proof of the exceptional trust placed in our solutions and our people by one of Canada’s fastest-growing cities. As Regina witnesses a new era of growth, expansion and opportunity in its illustrious history, transforming into an economic and commercial hub in Canada, we are proud to play an important role in its transformation journey, and to support its efforts in catering to a burgeoning and dynamic populace.”
The latest release of the Hansen CIS product provides an upgraded technology stack with enhanced functionality and security features to meet the evolving rigors of North American regulated energy markets. Enhanced key features include an adaptive and dynamic user interface; customizable workflows and wizards; integrated self-service Business Intelligence reporting; and an expanded API library to enable connectivity to applications such as customer mobile workforce, mobile dispatch appointment booking and customer web payments.
The go-live at the City of Regina follows the successful go-live of Hansen CIS at the City of Columbus earlier in the 2020 fiscal year.
