Helping Keep Vulnerable Families Fed with Food for Families – an ACT OF IMPACT

As the cost of living continues to rise, essential systems of support for the most vulnerable people are struggling to keep pace with the escalating demand for their services.

After reading about the ‘empty pantries and warehouses’ of food charities, Team Australia stepped up to help make a difference.

Over a one-month period, our team in Australia collected a range of essential supplies. These ranged from food to nappies, toiletries to cleaning products. We delivered more than 40 kg of goods to Food for Families.

Financial donations were also made directly to Food for Families. These enable their emergency support workers to purchase items directly to best support their clients.

The team at Food for Families were most appreciative of the physical and financial donations. As a token of gratitude, they presented Hansen with a Certificate of Appreciation for all our consistent support over the past few years.
